ALCOHOL
By
Eze Gilbert
Proverbs 23:29-30 KJV
Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? [30] They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
There is this lie that is making waves today; that alcohol takes care of stress and depression.
Another one that looks like it is that it is medically good and of course that Apostle Paul had encouraged the taking of a measure of it.
Well, I do not dispute all these.
However, our focal scripture is revealing the dangers associated with this content called alcohol.
It's says it causes woe (curse), sorrow, contentions, (argument and quarreling), babbling (too much talking and quarrel long), wounds/injuries without cause.
Sir/ma, desist from this trap that is buried in this liquid content.
It has swallowed many, including the strong and mighty.
Don't let It swallow you.
