The Hunger Games Actor Sam Claflin and Wife Laura Haddock Welcome First Child

The Hunger Games might have ended but Sam Claflin is beginning a whole new adventure: fatherhood.

Claflin and his wife Laura Haddock welcomed their first child in December, E! News confirms. The couple never openly said they were expecting, but they definitely couldn't hide the bump at the London premiere of The Hunger Games: Mocking jay—Part 2 in November. Both Claflin and Haddock were glowing on the red carpet, where he placed his hand on her growing belly and appeared absolutely smitten with his British wife.

She wore a gorgeous white gown embellished with jewels to debut her baby bump, and accessorized the whole look with a bold red lip and a low bun. The Pillars of the Earth actor looked equally dashing in a black suit with a polka-dotted tie. The fictional arenas might have been plenty messy, but Claflin certainly knows how to clean up nicely for Leicester Square.

The 29-year-old actor and his ladylove, 30, didn't release the sex or the name of their bundle of joy. The duo got married in July 2013 and have been in wedded bliss ever since. Although the pregnancy glow may have subsided, the looks on both of their faces show that they're probably even happier now that their baby has arrived.
Congratulations to the happy couple! We can't wait to meet your baby!

Fresh off her Golden Globes win for best actress in a drama television series, Taraji P. Henson finds herself on the cover of Elle magazine's Women in TV issue. And the actress says her beloved Empire character is as real as it gets.

"It was very important to me that she not be sassy and neck-rollin' and eye-bulgin' and attitude all the time," Henson says in the February issue.

"Everything she does is coming from a place of fighting for her family," she explains. "That's why she's not a caricature."
