VISION PART 1

Habakkuk 2:2 KJV

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

 A Vision is a well thought out or written down description of your tomorrow.

Unfortunately, many are just existing in this life not knowing where they are heading to.

And of course, if you don't know where you are going to, there will be nothing like direction.

This is the reason we are having lots of jobless fellows out there, because they found themselves in families or among friends that don't have plans for tomorrow 

God, speaking in our focal scripture above, says we should not just have the vision,  but it has to be made clear, readable, understandable and accessible so that another generation can see it, understand it and run with it.

The simple reason why successful men die and their success winds up is not too far from not having visions, or having a vision that is not clear for another to understand. 

Another factor is having a vision that is clear and understandable but another person who sees it cannot run with it.

It therefore crashes at the exit of the owner.

Learn from this scripture today.

Make Your visions clear.

Let your legacy out-live you. That is the will of God for us.

DECLARE HIS GOODNESS TO ALL

O give thanks unto the Lord ; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Let us look at our lives very well and you will find out that there are reasons why we should   continually give God thanks. 

The survival of the hard economy till date is nothing but a miracle.

Living and still going on amidst the security challenges of our nation is another reason for thanksgiving.

Declare His deeds amongst brethren,  friends and well wishers.

He deserves much more than that.

He is waiting for your thanksgiving.

Give it to Him always and tell others about it.

MORNING TEA , 6th JULY, 2021

ALL IS VANITY

Psalm 144:4 KJV 

Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

 Ecclesiastes 1:2 KJV

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

Yes!

Vanity. 

All is vanity.

Why then are you trying to kill yourself?

Why Are you struggling to impress them?

Why Are you dragging the land that you May not live to inherit? 

Why spend so much to build a house that may be demolished by your children if they are well trained? 

What is in this world?

You spend time, buy all the meat and fish, prepare the best food, only to drop all in the toilet the next morning. VANITY

Follow your friends to the club and parties, drink the most expensive drinks and deposit all in a near by gutter or urinary before morning. VANITY

Own a company, struggle to be at the top of your career and the best in your company, only to be given just a minute silence at departure. VANITY

Marry, give birth to wonderful children, bring them up with so much care and love and within a space of 20 -25 years, they leave only you and your spouse alone for their own home. VANITY.

Nothing is permanent in this life.

Just take it easy and do the needful: _To fear God and keep His commandment._ (Ecc. 12:13)

Everything else is vanity.

LEARN FROM THE ANTS

Proverbs 6:6 KJV

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

This is one of the commands/instructions in the bible that is hard to comprehend. Going to learn from the ant.

But in it lies great wisdom.  

This is because we are in a world today where people are in dare need of ready-made life to live.

Some others lack the basic wisdom and knowledge to survive hard times, thus making suicide their nearest option to end life's troubles and challenges.

Dear, every word and statement in the Holy scriptures is divine. Let's sit down and think out why we are directed to the ants and consider what lessons to learn from them:

• they have no leader but are still coordinated.
• they are highly disciplined in nature. 
• they know how to gather in the harvest and preserve against the dry days ahead.
• they work in unity always and exhibit team work spirit.
• they love One another, and do not hesitate to call their own when they see any food any where.

I think we need to humbly learn from them. Let's stop complaining and take the bull by the horn to make a difference in our life time.

EVIL GENERATION Part 4.

Proverbs 30:14 KJV

There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

Does this make sense to you?

Do You hear about the recent trend of marketing human parts,  and that it's almost made official as no one seems to be disturbing them. 

A generation that sees it to be normal to kill humans and drink the blood of their neighbours and relatives just to make money and may be get power.

Raping of anyone that comes their way is the order of the day.

They act as though their hearts have been sealed with iron.

What shall it profit a man to gain the world and loose his soul?

As we conclude, its important we all become agents of change,  let's see how we can change this narrative for the better.

I pray that the Lord will help us in Jesus name, 

Amen.

MORNING TEA , 26th JUNE,2021

MEN, PRAY FOR YOUR WIVES

Genesis 25:21 KJV

And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Saturday Morning Tea is usually dedicated to marriage talks.

And so today, we want to examine the priestly role of husbands on their wives.

From our text above, we see Isaac praying for his wife and God answered and gave her  children.

As a man, You are the first pastor that your wife should consult in case of challenges.

This means that we should leave up to our responsibility as men to be able to handle certain issues of life.

1. Isaac had a relationship with God that made him have access to Him in time of difficulty and God answered him. We should have a relationship with God our creator if we must make a head way in life.

2. The wife believed in him for the prayer to work. Wives must learn to believe in their husbands. Whether he knows how to pray like your pastor or not.

The family is your own branch of the church.

Ensure your altar candle keeps burning.

EVIL GENERATION 2

Proverbs 30:12 KJV 

There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

We are continuing again today with this same topic of yesterday: Evil generation

This generation we are referring to here are not ready to see things the way you see things because in their own eyes, no one else knows what they know.

They are proud, arrogant and self willed.

The scripture describes them as those who are right in their own ways, not knowing they are wrong; 

Clean in their own eyes, not knowing they are dirty.

Are you among them? Do you know anyone related or close to them,  please, let them know that danger awaits such persons.

We need to be humble, look for a very distinguished person and make him/her your mentor to be able to bring out in full, the potentials you are carrying on your inside.
