PRAY THAT THE WORD GROWS
By
Eze Gilbert
2 Thessalonians 3:1 KJV
_Finally, brethren, pray for us, *that the word of the Lord may have free course,* and be glorified, even as it is with you:_
The Word of God did not start facing hindrances today.
From the bible days, this resistance has been there.
And there is one hand that is fighting the gospel from ages past.
It's the hand of the devil.
He has so advanced his tricks and system that even the people who propagate the gospel don't know sometimes that they have started fighting the gospel.
The church has been hijacked by men who bring to their pulpits false teachers that can tell any lie and make money at the expense of people's hunger for the real WORD.
Those that have money to sponsor the word are not helping matters as they prefer to buy more estates to propagating the message of the WORD.
WhatsApp groups are not left out.
How would You explain the negative reactions of people over religious posts in chat groups?
The absence of the word does not reduce the personality of God but endangers the society.
We will eventually be the ones at the loosing end.
Prayer: Lord I thank you for your word is life and it brings light to mankind. Help me yo realize the significance of the word and also have the courage to share it with those who are lost, downcast and discouraged so they can receive strength and life to carry on. In Jesus name, amen.
