THE MENTOR ADOPTS THE MENTEE AS HIS OWN

To Timothy, my dearly beloved son : Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
The mentor takes a step further to endear himself to his mentee just to ensure that he will mold him into himself.
It is not enough to mentor someone from afar, answer their questions on phones, when they ask, etc.
Sometimes, as a father figure, write them, call them, visit him to know how he/she is doing with the teachings and instructions you have given previously.
Apostle Paul, who was a mentor to Timothy, assumed a father .position in his life. And the influence was near perfect.
Elijah did same to Elisha, Moses did same to Joshua, Jesus did same to His disciples, etc.
If you are a mentor to someone, go the extra mile to reproduce yourself in your mentee; especially if you have what to pass onto the next generation.
If You are not, start today. You need to bring someone up after you, outside your biological children.
